My name is Paula McMullen. After spending a long time teaching and living in Auckland and overseas, I am now back in my home town! It is hard to believe I have been teaching at Te Rapa for two years now. I often think where the time has gone!
I have spent most of my career teaching Year 7 and 8 which is a year group I really enjoy. This time of the students lives is full of change and challenges so patience and acceptance is called for. I continually aim to empower all students so they can make a choice within specific boundaries.
