I recently listened to a podcast with Nathan Wallis. He spoke about the importance of validating a child's voice by genuinely listening to what they have to say regardless of their age.               He mentioned a simple and effective technique called GLAD. It's an acronym for gratitude, learned, accomplished/achieved and delighted. Here is a GLAD reflection poster you may like to use with your tamariki.

PS. Learned is about what the student/child has learned about themself vs accomplishment in a task or act that moves you slightly towards a goal.
