Hockey

Te Rapa School prides itself in having a mini astro-turf to be able to play hockey on all year round.  We offer winter hockey and are able to train on and host inter-school games on our turf.  It is also used for a multitude of other sports and learning opportunities as an all-purpose and all-weather surface.  It is important that students and coaches are able to train on a surface that is modern and that prepares them for the modern game of hockey played on weekends and at tournaments – we are very fortunate to have such a surface.
