Welcome to Room 17

Welcome back to a busy and eventful Term 3!

We will be shifting our Inquiry focus this term to the Arts, and will also be lucky to have a variety of visiting shows from drama/dance workshops to musical performances.

The other big focus for this term is to start preparing for camp! We are heading to Motutapu Island in Week 10 of this term and there is plenty to do before we go.

Other opportunities for our students this term include our tech rotations here and at Te Au O Tamatea, also we have speeches, cross country and Hamilton West Sports Exchange to name a few.

While cross country is not everyones 'cup of tea', we ask that you encourage your children to take part as it is a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle through excersice and perseverance. We will be training Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, so please bring appropriate running gear (Jeans and puffer jackets are not appropriate).

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing many of you at our Parent, student, teacher conferences coming up in week 2.
