Welcome to Room 18
Kia ora koutou and welcome to Term 1. I look forward to meeting each of you at some stage. To find out about me, click on the Teacher Bio button above. This term, we have our swimming programme which suits the warm weather. Our inquiry topic is Belonging and this fits with building a supportive classroom environment. Statistics will be our initial Mathematics strand. Describing characters is our writing focus. Texts for reading lessons will be examples of creative character writing.

Friday, 8 March: Full school assembly.
Tuesday, 12 March: Year 7/8 swimming sports.
Wednesday, 20 March: Looking to Lead for the School Councillors only.
Friday, 22 March: Celebrating Cultures Day.
Wednesday, 10 April and Thursday, 11 April: Parent/teacher conferences.
Friday, 12 April: Full school assembly.
At regular syndicate assemblies HEART certificates are awarded.
