Kia ora koutou and welcome to Term 2. I hope that everyone had an enjoyable break.
We welcome a new student, Kimaya Thorat to Room 18 this term.
We have another exciting and action packed term ahead of us in the Year 7 and 8 syndicate, with weekly tech rotations, a science inquiry focus, Sports Camp and the start of production practises. We are all working with the new curriculum.
At tech, the students receive specialised teaching in the following areas: Food - Design and Evaluation, BioTech - Body Products, Digital Imagery & Product Labelling, Hard Materials - Design Process and Visual Art. For safety reasons the students need to wear closed shoes for tech.
Congratulations to Trudie Curtis who got married prior to the holidays. She will now be known as Mrs Trudie Wilson.
At regular syndicate assemblies HEART certificates are awarded.
