Tech Arts run every Thursday, providing a range of different subjects: Food tech, Art, Hard materials and Innovation. Akonga will travel by bus, and covered shoes are a must! 

Year 7: Are required to be at school before 8.30am, and will head down - then return before 12pm. 

Year 8: Will remain at kura (school), and partake in a range of activities from Science to Puoro (Music). They will then leave at 12pm. 

We are lucky to have our 25m pool at Te Rapa. We swim three days of the week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday being our formal lessons with a syndicate swim on Friday.

Swimming is compulsory. However, if your child is unable to swim please send a note or drop me an email. 

Our focus for Rangahau (Inquiry) this term is around Belonging. 

We will look at what makes us feel like we belong, and what does it mean to belong!

While working through our Inquiry topic, we will look at our Learning Assets. These will support our akonga (students') to question, investigate and research as well as view things from various perspectives.
