Welcome to Room 18

Welcome to Room 18 for 2023.  I hope that everyone enjoyed their summer break and especially the couple of days of sunshine that we had.  🤣

The students in Room 18 have begun sharing about themselves and they have published their efforts in a big book that can be read by their peers.  To find out about me, click on the bio button.

I look forward to meeting you during the year.

Below is the video I filmed and edited of our fantastic year 7/8 camp to Motutapu Island in Term 4 of last year.  This was my first time for this amazing experience and I try here to give you a taste of what it was like.  If the video is not showing, go back and reload this page.  Play the video in 1080p HD.

We have three Japanese students in room 18 for this week.  This is Miu with the self portrait that she created.

We have been having a syndicate tug of war competition and the finals are approaching.  Room 18 achieved second place.

14/3  The students got to walk through a balloon today, thanks to Kevin Briggs.

On the 22nd of March, it was our syndicate's swimming sports.

The 24th of March was our celebrating cultures day.  This is Fraser Duvenhage with his face painted. Â
