Te Rapa Primary School

Welcome back to Term 4 in what could be a very different term. Covid 19 is definitely showing us how changeable and ready to adapt we need to be. I hope everyone had a good break away from the daily routine of school, in what could have been a very challenging school holidays. Let's hope that Term 4 is not too interrupted by alert level changes and we can get back to school as soon as possible!

The focus for Term 4 will be building Athletics skills in our children. Each child will have the opportunity to develop run (sprints), throw (discus and shot put) and jump (long jump and high jump) skills. We will complete a rotation around each of the disciplines.

Year 5-8 Athletics Day is at Porritt Stadium this year on Wednesday 17th November. More information to come early in Term 4.

Finlay Park Camp 2nd-5th November 2021

Careers

The students will complete a careers unit during their Thursday rotation time.   The focus will be on “How can I prepare for the future?” as the students inquire into these understandings:  We have a distinctive set of qualities and interests.
