Room 7 Term 4

Unbelievable that here we are into the last term of the year!!!!

Well it certainly is going to be an action packed term, and a big happy one since we are Rugby World Cup Champions!!!!!

Our exciting topic this term is Fairy Tales. We will be writing our very own fairy tales making sure we include a problem and a solution. We are going to be making up some of our very own interesting characters.  Our reading programme is going to link with our topic and the arts as we practise and perform our favourite fairy tale plays. Friendship is going to be a focus and fairy tales is a unique way to look at good and bad characteristics.

This term sees us out and about in the community with our ‘Big Day Out’ where we will be organising a fun day of activities for us and the rest of the junior syndicate to enjoy.

To keep us out and about and in the sun (with our sunhats on) we are starting Athletics where we will be long jumping, high jumping, sprints and lots of throwing activities.

Hopefully with the coming of our warmer weather we will be heading back into the pool to continue our keep safe swim programme.

With the lead up to Christmas I am sure we are going to be writing to Santa to put in our wish lists. So as you can see we have a lot to do and with a short eight week term we are going to be busy.
