Report
Writing

writing and presenting an Inquiry Report on different aspects of
schooling in the past, present and future.
Letter Writing
We will be
writing a variety of letters including emails to show how they
can gather
information using these formats and demonstrate their learning
and
understanding of the overall topic.
Our Guided reading and Shared Reading
will be developing comprehension strategies. This term we are
looking at Summarising and Self-Monitoring.
Aquatics –
We have the privilege of using the school pool every day in the
morning to further develop our swimming and survival skills
that are in line with the State Swimsafe Programme. Our
training sessions will lead towards our syndicate swimming sports on
Tuesday the 13th March.
Homework
Weekly
homework will be given out each Monday and handed in completed by
the following Friday. The tasks will provide practice and learning
that supports the classroom program.
Daily spelling
practice and reading is encouraged.
StationEry
Each
student will be given a list on the first day of school from their
class teacher. Could you please get stationery as soon as possible.
Students will also be attending St. Andrews
Middle School every Thursday from
