Rugby

Te Rapa Junior Rugby Club provides competition and opportunity for all age groups within our school.  The Te Rapa Club is based at St Andrews Park.  Many students are also involved with other local rugby clubs eg. Eastern Suburbs, Old Boys and Marist.

The school participates in a variety of 7’s and ten-a-side rugby competitions and provides rugby jerseys in our school’s colours for these interschool fixtures. 

Te Rapa Primary School students also feature in representative sides at Gould Cup, Bower Cup, Roller Mills and Gwynne Shield levels.

Students interested in inter-school rugby or information regarding representative trials should see Sports Co-ordinator, Mr Tony Su'a (Room 13).

Touch

Year 1 - 8 students are eligible to play touch during Terms 1 and 4.  It is a great sport for all ages.  Teachers involved in organising teams will call for interested students again at the very end of Term 3 / beginning of Term 4.
