Netball

At Te Rapa Primary School, Netball is offered to all Year 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 children.

The competition is run during Terms 2 and 3 of each year, with Year 4 and 5 children playing on a Thursday afternoon, and all other grades on a Saturday morning. 

There are opportunities for skilled Year 7 and 8 players to be part of Waikato representative teams also.  We are proud to have a sound record of Te Rapa Primary School students achieving higher representative honours.

The Hamilton Netball Association offer "Fun Ferns" on a Thursday afternoon for Year 1-3 children who have a keen interest in starting to develop their netball skills.  This year the Netball Association is looking at running a Funball Competition in Term 4 for Year 1-3 children similar to 2011.

Students interested in playing Netball during Terms 2 and 3 should see Miss Trudie Curtis in Room 6 for further information now.
