Netball

At Te Rapa Primary School, Netball is offered to all Year 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 children.

The competition is run during Terms 2 and 3 of each year, with Year 4 and 5 children playing on a Thursday afternoon, and all other grades on a Saturday morning.  This year we have 8 teams in the competition.

There are opportunities for skilled Year 7 and 8 players to be part of Waikato representative teams also.  We are proud to have a sound record of Te Rapa Primary School students achieving higher representative honours.

Students interested in playing Netball during Terms 2 and 3 should see Miss Trudie Curtis (Room 6) - Years 4-6, and Mrs Andrea Dance (Room 20) - Years 7 & 8.
