Cricket

We endeavour to offer cricket to all children from Year 3 upwards.  We have 2 quality cricket nets for students to use during recess times and for regular practice.  These are an excellent asset to our school and fosters a love of cricket amongst students and staff.

We have a Friday night competition which uses a softer cricket ball, and Saturday morning competitions which cater for those more able cricketers using the traditional hard ball.

We currently have teams involved in various competitions, and our senior team (Year 7 & 8) competes each summer in the inter-school “Milo Cup” knockout competition. Our senior players regularly gain selection in Hamilton Representative teams.

Students interested in playing cricket during Terms 1 and 4 of each year should see Mr Rod Montford (Room 19).
