I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break.
We have a full and exciting first term ahead for us in Room 6 full of learning, fun, academic and sporting opportunities.
We will be going to the library every Friday. Please ensure book bags and previous library books are returned Friday.
I had a summer to remember as I went from Miss MacKenzie to Mrs Brady.
As this is my second year teaching, the amazing Mrs Darlington will be in every second Tuesday with the class.
Many of us know each other from last year, however we are wanting to make Room 6 an approachable, friendly and respectful classroom for each student and their peers. Our inquiry this term is all about understanding that Room 6 has a classroom community and within the class, we all have a part to play.
Te Rapa H.E.A.R.T will be intertwined throughout this inquiry as we discuss each aspect of our school values.
H - Honesty
E - Excellence
A - Aroha
R - Respect
T - Teamwork
We will be starting our reading groups this term, along with the shared book and home readers.
