We have a full and exciting second term ahead for us in Room 6 full of learning, fun, academic and sporting opportunities.
We will be going to the library every Friday. Please ensure book bags and previous library books are returned Friday.
I had a summer to remember as I went from Miss MacKenzie to Mrs Brady.
As this is my second year teaching, the amazing Mrs Darlington will be in every second Tuesday with the class.
Our inquiry this term has a curriculum focus in the learning area, science. This term we are travelling 'To Infinity and Beyond', exploring the solar system and discovering its secrets.
In Room 6, we will continue to develop and discuss our school's core values.

We will be continuing our reading groups this term, along with the shared book, poem and home readers.
Math's groups and rotations will begin this term using 'prime'. We will also be learning about statistics.
Our focus this term is 'Cross Country.' The school cross country will be Friday 31st May 2019.
We will complete experiments with a focus on hypothesis and conclusion.
We will be focusing on visual arts this term, including drawing, painting and using different textures.
We will be exploring 'google' including google drive, google slides and google docs.
